My name is Gavin Thorpe, but I'm better known as 'L. E. Gav Thorpe'.

I am an artist and oil painter from the southern part of England who only ever creates paintings of the legs, feet and shoes. I was born in the city of Brighton on the Southern coast and grew up in the small town of Lewes spending a lot of my childhood painting and drawing, but I never undertook any training in the arts, so I am completely self taught. I have however trained in image manipulation, design and media. I've always enjoyed saucy things, so I try to create paintings that have a fun, saucy and kinky feel.

The paintings that I paint are always of the legs, feet and shoes, usually women's and usually always painted from the shoulders, hips or knees down. In some cases where I do paint faces or more of a person than just the legs, I try to simplify the facial features or conceal their face in some way, because I never want to paint real people and always want the subjects to remain anonymous.
But I do like make pictures where women are always in the more dominant position and the man is the more submissive or even shrunken to being the height of the heel of her shoes.
